Whether you're choosing our Truer-Fit™ socks, compression socks, or custom-fit sandals, this guide will help you select the right size and keep your Neotrek products performing at their best.

Which Sock Configuration Should I Order?

Neotrek socks are available in three configurations based on the anatomy of both of your feet. Choose the option that best describes you.

Standard Pair

Choose Standard if you have two standard feet.

Your pair will include:

  • 1 standard left sock
  • 1 standard right sock

Two standard feet = Standard

Mixed Pair

Choose Mixed if you have one standard foot and one partially amputated foot.

Your pair will include:

  • 1 standard sock
  • 1 partial-foot sock

One standard foot + one partially amputated foot = Mixed

Bilateral Pair

Choose Bilateral if both feet are partially amputated.

Your pair will include:

  • 1 partial-foot left sock
  • 1 partial-foot right sock

Two partially amputated feet = Bilateral

How to Choose Your Size

For all three configurations, choose your sock size based on the shoe size you would normally wear with a standard-length foot.

If you have a partial-foot or transmetatarsal amputation, do not size down based on the length of your residual foot. Use your normal shoe size as your sizing reference.

Fit Tips

  • Standard socks: If you're between sizes, size down for a snugger fit or size up for a more relaxed fit.
  • Compression socks: Follow your normal shoe size as closely as possible to achieve the intended level of compression and support.
  • Partial-foot and transmetatarsal customers: First choose Standard, Mixed, or Bilateral based on your anatomy, then select the size that corresponds with your normal shoe size. Do not size based on the length of your residual foot.

Care & Washing Instructions

Socks

Our socks are made with premium REPREVE® polyester fibers made from recycled plastic bottles, along with nylon and spandex for performance, comfort, and durability.

To keep them performing their best:

  1. Machine wash cold with like colors.
  2. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can damage the fibers and reduce compression performance.
  3. Tumble dry low or air dry for the longest product life.
  4. Do not iron or dry clean.

Pro tip: Turn your socks inside out before washing to help maintain softness, color, and performance over time.

Sandals

Our custom-fit sandals feature premium nylon rigging webbing and an EVA foam comfort top designed for durability, support, and all-day comfort.

To keep them adventure-ready:

  1. Rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt water, chlorine, or heavy dirt.
  2. Use mild soap and a soft brush or cloth to spot-clean the straps and footbed.
  3. Air dry away from direct sunlight or high heat to help preserve the materials and custom-fit shape.
  4. Avoid machine washing, prolonged submersion, or leaving your sandals in a hot car.

Pro tip: Store your sandals flat or hanging to help maintain their custom-fit shape.
